TC4 titanium alloy powder (Ti-6Al-4V)

TC4 (Ti‑6Al‑4V) is the most widely used and technologically mature titanium alloy grade. Based on a titanium (Ti) matrix, it incorporates aluminum (5.5–6.75%) as an α‑phase stabilizer to enhance heat resistance and specific strength, while vanadium (3.5–4.5%) serves as a β‑phase stabilizer to improve ductility. This alloy combines high strength, lightweight characteristics, excellent corrosion resistance, and superior biocompatibility, with a specific strength far surpassing that of steels and aluminum alloys. TIJO produces TC4 spherical powder using an inert‑gas atomization process, yielding powders with high sphericity, excellent flowability, controllable oxygen content, and outstanding batch-to-batch consistency. These powders are suitable for processes such as selective laser melting (SLM), electron beam melting (EBM), powder metallurgy compaction and sintering, and cold spraying. They find extensive applications in aerospace (engine blades, structural components), medical implants (artificial joints, bone plates, dental implants), the energy and chemical industries (corrosion‑resistant valves, deep‑sea components), automotive lightweighting, and marine engineering. The maximum long-term service temperature is 400°C. The material complies with ASTM F136, ISO 5832‑3, and GB/T 3620.1‑2016 standards.
